WAHALA!! “We All Know He’s Wack! No Talent!” – Wizkid Takes Shots At Davido In New Tweets (SEE TWEETS)

The ongoing social media feud between two Afrobeats stars and their fanbases shows no signs of stopping.

Nigerian Grammy-winning Afrobeats artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has taken aim at his fellow musician Davido in a series of recent tweets.

Despite preparing to release his highly anticipated single Morayo from his upcoming album, and hosting exclusive launch parties in Paris and London, the Starboy Entertainment leader has still found time to engage in some Twitter drama.

In the latest turn of events, the duo is at it again, with Wizkid taking several cryptic shots at Davido before finally addressing him directly on Twitter. The issue seems to have escalated from a cryptic tweet made by Davido’s creative director and close friend, Tycoone, on October 1st, 2024.

The tweet, believed by many to be a subtle dig at Wizkid, read: “A certain Daddy should drop new music.” This sparked a renewed exchange between the camps.

In response to Tycoone’s tweet, Wizkid retweeted a quote from it and followed up with a series of posts seemingly directed at Davido, particularly after Davido recently teased his first single of the year.

Wizkid tweeted, “Pussy boys dropping mids again! ”, a remark many have interpreted as a subtle dig at Davido’s latest release.

Wizkid, a father of four, didn’t stop at his initial tweet, continuing with a series of cryptic posts. One of his tweets read “Frogido,” a reference widely believed to be a twist on his past jabs at Davido’s so-called “frog voice” (a dig at Davido’s raspy vocal tone during their previous online feuds).

The Essence hitmaker eventually made it clear he was targeting Davido, bluntly calling him “wack” and “not talented.”
