A 19-year-old man identified as Abba Yusuf, allegedly stabbed his 60-year-old father, Alhaji Dahiru Yusuf Maileather, to d@ath in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital. The incident happened at the weekend at Sarkin-Noma quarters at about 8.30 p.m. The elder brother of the deceased, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammed Bala, who spoke to the press said he was at his residence when his sister called him. When my sister called me, she said our brother has been k!lled by his son. I quickly ran to my brothers residence and only to be told he has been moved to a hospital, he said. Bala said the suspect has been handed over to the police. He also revealed that the mother of the suspect and her other two children have absconded.
