Newnaija The Crisis between the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State appears far from getting to an end as members of PDP are raising alarm in a protest against alleged intimidation of its members in the state.
Leading the protest in Ilorin the State capital, State Chairman of PDP who is also a Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Babatunde Mohammed said the party will not accept what he called baseless intimidation by the ruling APC through incesant police arrest.

Similarly at a press conference, the Ilorin West candidate of the party in the just concluded local government election, Musbaudeen Esinrogunjo rejected the result while his counterpart in the Ilorin South local government, Mohammed Ayodeji through his lawyer have also raised alarm over failure of the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) to obey court order to grant access to election documents
In the hit of the ongoing crisis amongst the political bigwigs of the two political parties, leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has held a crucial meeting with the state Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya to address concerns over the alleged clampdown on its party members.
