NPFL: Kano Pillars must not underrate Akwa United – Abdallah

Kano Pillars technical adviser Usman Abdallah has said his team won’t underrate Akwa United despite their struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

Newnaija recalls that Akwa United currently occupy the bottom of the NPFL table with two points from five matches.

Kano Pillars will lock horns with Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday(today).

Abdallah pointed that last weekend’s victory over Sunshine Stars has boosted his team’s morale.

“We are positive of a favourable result in the game against Akwa United in Uyo,” Abdallah stated in a pre-match interview.

“The win over Sunshine Stars has boosted the moral of the team and we are keeping the motivation going to the game.

“The atmosphere of the team is high and alot is expected from the players.”
