Shola Adegun is set to be named the new head coach of Nigeria National League, NNL outfit, Sporting Lagos.

Adegun, according to reports, will be promoted from the club’s academy.

Former handler of the side, Abdullahi Biffo quit the post following the club’s relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.

Adegun led Sporting Lagos Academy to win the Gothia Cup this year.

The young tactician will be saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the club’s immediate return to the NPFL.

The 2024/25 NNL season will start next month.
