Adedeji Adeleke, the father of multiple award-winning Nigerian artiste, Davido, has revealed that his company, Pacific Energy, generates about 15% of Nigerias electricity.Adeleke disclosed this during the Seventh-Day Adventist Churchs General Conference Annual Council 2024, held on 15 October. The billionaire highlighted his investments in the nations power sector, saying his thermal power plant is expected to become fully operational by January 2025. Adeleke noted that Chinese engineering firms are involved in the construction of the plant, which, upon completion, will be the largest thermal power plant in Nigeria, with a capacity of 1,250 megawatts.
