The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reaffirmed its commitment to improving road safety and reducing accidents on Nigeria roads.
FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed who was speaking through the Ogun State Sector Commander, Oladapo Akinwunmi during an interactive session with stakeholders on road management in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital said, with the support of road safety stakeholders, the mandate to eradicate Road Traffic Crashes and create safe motoring environment in the country among others can be achieved.

Some of the road management stakeholders commended the services rendered by the corps, and urged them to do more especially during the Ember months with its peculiarities as it relates to upsurge in road accidents.
The Ogun State corps sector commander charged men and officers of the corps to rededicate themselves to the corps mandate on road safety to people who use the nation’s roads on daily basis.
