Newnaija Nigerian rapper Remilekun Abdulkhalid Safaru, better known as Reminisce, has likened fame to a powerful drug, describing it as highly intoxicating.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, the ‘Alaga Ibile’ hitmaker expressed how fame can have a strong influence.
“Fame is a hard drug. It’s very intoxicating,” Reminisce remarked.
When asked how he manages fame, the rapper explained that he approaches it with the mindset that no one is his friend.
He clarified that he views people as colleagues rather than friends, which helps him avoid having high expectations from them.
