Africa Military Games: Defence Chief seeks FCTA support for hosting of November event

The Nigerian Military is seeking the support of the Federal Capital Territory Administration to ensure a successful hosting of the Africa Military Games, scheduled to begin next month in Abuja.

A delegation from the Nigerian Armed Forces, led by the Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The delegation emphasized the significance of the sporting event in showcasing Nigeria to the world.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike enthusiastically welcomed the proposal for the Africa Military Games and pledged the FCT Administration’s full support for the hosting of the event.

The FCT Minister also commended the Nigerian Military for what he described as its unwavering commitment to securing the nation’s capital and urged them to remain steadfast in their efforts at providing security across the country, despite the challenges
