Abia PDP House of Reps member defects to APC

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Ukwa East/West of Abia State, Chris Nkwonta has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This was announced on the floor of the House during plenary by the Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, in Abuja on Wednesday, October 2. Reacting to the defection, the Deputy Minority Leader Aliyu Madaki quoting section of the constitution called that Nwontas seat be declared vacant.  The post Abia PDP House of Reps member defects to APC appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
