Nigeria’s Flying Eagles on Tuesday left the country for Togo to participate in the WAFU B U-20 Championship.

The team travelled to Togo via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The travelling contingent includes a 20-man list squad, coaching crew, and other backroom staff alongside Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials.

They had the final phase of their preparation at the Remo Stars training complex in Ikenne.

The Flying Eagles, who are the defending champions of the competition, will face Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire in Group B.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will take on Burkina Faso in their opening fixture at the Municipal Stadium, Lome on Friday.
