Troops of the Nigerian Army, 6 Division, have intercepted a trailer with Reg No JJN 167 ZU Plateau siphoning crude oil from the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company’s oil pipeline at Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The troops also arrested two suspects in connection with the alleged crime, Newnaija can report.

Acting Deputy Director, 6 Division Nigerian Army Public Relations, Lt. Col. Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, disclosed this in a statement sent to our correspondent in Warri.

He said, “Two persons have been arrested in connection with the crime.”

He added that “Several other vehicles loaded with stolen products were intercepted at Obi Anyima Community in Ika South LGA and Ugo Community in Orhionmwon, Edo State, in follow-up operations conducted.”
