The split comes after Seyi Vibez faced backlash on social media for canceling a show in Toronto, Canada, without giving prior notice.
Following the incident, he updated his social media bio to “Independent artist” and removed all previous posts, signaling the beginning of his independent music career.
A look at his Instagram account shows that both he and Dapper Music’s boss have unfollowed each other, marking the end of their professional relationship.
As of now, there has been no public response from Dapper Music or its boss regarding the split with Seyi Vibez.
The record label has not released any official statement or comments about the situation following Seyi Vibez’s departure and the social media fallout.
