Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to calls by the Newnaija.com.ngnews-update/good-news-world-bank-set-to-approve-1-5-billion-loan-to-nigeria”>World Bank for Nigeria to go through economic challenges for the next 15 years.
We’d recall that World Bank had said Nigerian Naira is among the worst-performing currencies in sub-Sahara Africa at the end of August 2024.
The former lawmaker, while reacting, accused the World Bank of planning to extend Nigeria’s suffering and hardship for another 15 years before reaching a place of complete bliss.
In his words:
“The World Bank wants the hardship to extend to the next fifteen years before we can reach the promise land. I don’t know of how many people will be remaining at that time to enjoy the fruits of the WB in its promise land. The question is How many African countries have the World Bank taken to the promise land?”
