The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Israel Akanji, and former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, have called on President Bola Tinubu to address the growing hardship caused by the recent fuel price hike in Nigeria.
The duo made this appeal while speaking to journalists at the 64th Annual Ministers Conference of the Baptist Church, themed: ‘The Necessity of Sound Doctrines in a Time Like This’ held in Kaduna.
Former Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Joseph Hayab, also weighed in, noting that while the country has seen improvements in security, the situation is far from resolved.
