Chairman of the House Of Representatives Committee on Sports Kabiru Amadu says he is confident Nigeria will secure the maximum six points in their upcoming AFCON double-header qualifiers against Libya.
The Super Eagles are set to face Libya on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo and again in Benghazi on Tuesday.
Amadu praised the team’s performance in their previous matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Nigeria currently leads Group D with four points from two matches, and Amadu is urging the team to build on that momentum.
He also reassured the players that the National Assembly is fully supportive of them, with the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, rooting for their success.
Friday’s encounter between Nigeria and Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo will be broadcast live on Africa Independent Television AIT
