Popular American rapper and YouTuber, DDG, has reacted to the backlash he received after breakup with his baby mama, Halle Bailey.
Newnaija reports that the singer announced a breakup with Bailey via his Instagram page on Thursday October 3 2024, explaining that the split was based on a mutual agreement.
However, reacting to the backlash received from fans on social media, DDG noted that he and Bailey remain family.
Speaking in a viral interview with ‘No Ordinary podcast’ on Monday, the rapper said, “I have announced that we have split up, right? It happens, Halle is still family and I love her till death no matter what.
“Everything is still good and you never know what the future holds. Anything beyond that statement is nobody’s business. I go through my comments, mentions and DMs, and I see people who have no idea of what is going on talking.
“I have seen people creating stories, timelines and stuff. In this situation, nobody was wrong. Nobody has come out to say I did this or she did that. Me and Halle are still family, we are just taking a little break. We don’t know what can happen in the future.
“When public figures give you a statement, take it and mind your business. I don’t know anything about your life and you don’t know about mine, you know just a tiny bit because I allowed you to.”
