WAFU U-20 Cup: Flying Eagles relocate to Ikenne for final preparation

The Flying Eagles will arrive in Ikenne on Monday for their final preparation ahead of the WAFU B U-20 Championship.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will train at the high-grade Remo Sports Institute for a week before departing for Lome, Togo.

They are drawn in Group B with Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.

Hosts Togo will battle Ghana, Benin Republic and Niger Republic in Group A of the competition.

Togo will host the competition from October 17 to October 31.

The championship will serve as the qualifying tournament for next year’s Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
